It is by no accident that we are able to have wonderful relationships with our pets and many animals in the wild. What is good for animals is also good for us because we are all connected.
News and updates
I’ve been teaching psychic development for quite a while now and the funny thing is, I don’t see auras. I experience them. My third eye says, nope, we are not seeing that stuff. Not yet. The majority of my students come to class with the goal to learn how to “see” auras and I tell them, there is more than one way to see an aura and yes, if you don’t already, eventually you will be able to see the beautiful colors of the aura.
After a visit with my dad at his new assisted living digs, I felt drained. I could barely drive home. This is awful and it takes the enjoyment out of seeing him. What the heck is going on? Am I fresh meat for these lovely people in their golden years? I hear a resounding yes!
Three Easy meditation styles
For the most part we all know there are many benefits to having a meditation practice, but are we taking advantage of that? To see results you need to do it daily. My biggest challenge in my practice is making time to meditate consistently.
I am always learning more about money. Sometimes the lessons are in bookkeeping, other times they are lessons in gratitude. Not surprisingly, they are all about me. Is your life like that too? I hope so. Our life is all about us. There I said it and I don’t feel ashamed about it anymore.
As a healer I work with the chakras. Whether I’m using Reiki, Pranic or any other healing modality, assessing the function of the chakra tells me a lot about the person and why they don’t feel well or their life is not what they imagined it could be.
Every now and again I get a flurry of inquiries about psychic protection. Are you teaching a class? What crystals should I carry? Which candle do I need for my situation? I was told I need a spiritual cleansing, what’s that? These questions often come from people just learning about energy.
Back in 2008 I published the Healers Almanac and within its pages I shared many different modalities and therapies available. Each in their own way, alleviate the many symptoms we suffer from by bringing the body, mind and emotions back into balance.
I recently attended a weekend workshop with a group of about 160 people who I’ve been taking online classes with for the last 4 years. The weekend culminated in a ceremony to celebrate our accomplishments.
Sometimes closure is hard because we don’t know we haven’t done it. We stand there saying goodbye without ever closing the door and walking away. Talk about mixed messages. Each one of us are responsible for our own part of letting good bye mean this is over.
All month we’ve been swimming in the astral sea of ancestors and spirit guides because the thin veil has made it possible to make those special connections. I hope you were able to rekindle fond memories and quiet conversations with loved ones who’ve passed.
The veil between the worlds thins every year as October gives way to November. I was raised a catholic and we call this transition, All Saints Day. A time when the saints came to bless us and we honored them for their courage and faith.
Old wives tales, folklore, reiki, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine, Tai Ch’i, shamanism, spiritualism and magic have something in common. They have a rich tradition in working in harmony with what is found in nature to help us heal our body, mind and emotions.
The power behind your thought is passion. When you’re positively passionate about your work, it’s beautiful. When you are negatively passionate about your work it’s tragic. It’s still beautiful, even though its beauty comes through surviving pain. If you don’t have any passion your thoughts don’t go anywhere.
August 2017 begins the celebration of twenty five years of being in the business of helping people improve themselves and their life. Soon you will be inundated with 25 of this and 25 of that. All of it will be entertaining, eye opening and just plain amazing.
Everyone knows that change is a part of life and it is undeniably a powerful teacher. We really can’t ignore the lessons that change and transition brings to us. Of course there are times we rail against them, shake our fist, pull our hair and pound on pillows because they are not what we want.
