The Judgment of Paris is not a story about love, despite its surface-level storyline. Paris' prize, Helen of Troy, was already married, and their illicit affair caused the Trojan War. So, the story is about human choices, and on its deepest level, so is the sign of Libra.

August is here, and it's time to welcome Virgo season! In Kabbalah, this month of Elul is associated with the cosmic process of repentance (Teshuvah). This is where we take stock of our actions throughout the year, reflect on their root cause, make amends when necessary, and try to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future.

Since the Sun is the center of the solar system, it is not surprising that Apollo governs so many facets of life.  Likewise, we can use the energy of the Sun to perform potent magic.  And guess what?  You don’t need any sunscreen!

When people think of the sign of Leo (and again I am biased), they think of showy, extroverted types that need to be the center of attention.  Leo is considered a ‘creator type’ because they are often involved in the performing arts.  However, the deeper core of what Leo is creating has little to do with entertaining the masses – entertaining is simply a byproduct.  Instead, each creation, each part, and each role gets them closer to what they long for – being themselves.
