New moon in AriesWe live by themes at Coventry. We’ve been doing it for years. It’s our way of teaching how to use our products. This is not exclusively about selling you products. Mostly we want to help you reach your goals and change your life for the better.

Sure we all have karma we have to sort out and rectify, but there is more to life than learning lessons and righting wrongs. We also are here to try new things, stretch and grow in every way. You know the list; emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I have muscle memory in my fingers because I’ve written that list so many times. We can thank the new moon in Aries on April 15th for putting the outgoing if not forceful energy of the ram right right in the palm of our hands. This is what is needed to be able to take the next step.

Going for goals means taking risks.

Without them you could easily get stuck or surrender to a rung on the ladder that is not worthy of you. I see you deserving more, and you are just the one to go and get it for you. I also see you needing encouragement too. Everyone gets scared and the ones who say they don’t get scared learned how to transform their fear into jet fuel. I’ve always admired those who have overcome their fear so they could do something meaningful and fun. My teacher calls that responding to a soul prompting. We cautious folks, who make being practical look exciting, could take a tip and tune into our soul and what it wants to experience. If you are like me, someone who needs to prepare for the wild hair, I’ve devised a clever candle ritual to calm us while we let go of fear and “oh I can’t” and get ready for the leap.

New Moon magic candle ritual

For this work you’ll need a Dragon’s Blood Witch’s Brew oil,Inner Balance Blessed Herbal candle, Energy Blessed Herbal and two candle candleholders.

Get all cozy in your sacred space and sit in a chair or on the floor. Do some yoga breathing. Inhale in through your nostrils. Fill your lungs, all the way. Hold for a count of three, then exhale through your lips. Empty out your lungs, hold there for a few counts. Repeat this for at least three cycles. If you are anxious, do a couple more. When you feel relaxed and grounded, return to normal breathing. Doing this slowly will prevent hyperventilation. This step is important because we are asking ourselves to overcome some fear.

Now that you’re relaxed, take the packaging off of the Inner Balance Blessed Herbal candle. Open the Dragon’s Blood Witch’s Brew oil. Anoint the sides of the candle thinking about what your soul could possibly want to do. Allow yourself to feel your emotions. Acknowledge them without judgement. If you need to, write about what you are feeling. Now put the candle in the holder and light it. Recite or read your words at the flame. Release all the feelings triggered by thinking about doing something that seems unlike you or, just like you (but you’re afraid of it). Empty out your cache of feels.

Now sit quietly and listen to your soul. Be patient, it may take a bit. The voice may be very faint at first.

Write down what you heard. This could be what your soul wants to do. Come back to the list now and again and reflect on it. Use it as your guide as you reach out and try something new. Do this meditation regularly to strengthen the connection to your soul’s voice. Each time you meditate anoint your wrists with the Dragon’s Blood oil. When the Inner Balance Candle is consumed, do the meditation with the Energy Blessed Herbal Candle. Let its beautiful orange color help you stay motivated and enthusiastic.
